The Taming of the Shrew

Mama Baptista is in quite a dilemma, finding suitable husbands for her two daughters. Sweet-tempered, adorable Bianca can have her pick of many suitors, but not until a willing groom can be found for her ornery, strong-willed elder sister, Kate! All seems lost until Petruchio swaggers into town with a plan to tame this shrew. Their comic courtship proves to be more than either of them ever imagined.

Seattle Prep Drama brings to life one of William Shakespeare's best-loved plays, The Taming of the Shrew. Set in the Appalachian Mountains, we are presenting this classical comedy with a contemporary knee-slappin' twist. The cast includes 22 talented Seattle Prep actors under the direction of Adam Othman.

Ticket and Seating Information:
The show is general admission seating and we open the theater for seating 30 minutes before to curtain time. Tickets may also be purchased in person at the Seattle Prep Attendance Office or at the Box Office one hour before each performance (depending on availability). Online ticket sales end 2 hours before curtain time.
