Second Sunday Concert Series - Felix & Fanny Mendelssohn
On November 9th, the Roedde House Victorian parlour springs back to life with the music of Felix and Fanny Mendelssohn!
Brother and sister Felix and Fanny Mendelssohn grew up studying, playing and composing music together. Their family often hosted Sunday concerts in their home where both siblings' latest creations were performed and appreciated by friends, family and invited guests. Soprano Catherine Laub and mezzo-soprano Melanie Adams are joined by pianist Rita Attrot in a program of fall and evening themed songs, duets and piano pieces. The Roedde House Museum invites you to spend a Sunday in our home enjoying some of the very music Gustav Roedde selected and specially bound for his children to play and sing.
About the Second Sunday Concert Series: This concert is part of a monthly concert series, taking place on the 2nd Sunday of each month, in the afternoon. *****PARKING******: Options include the parking lot at the Empire Landmark Hotel (Robson & Broughton) or street parking on Robson and in the West End.
