Please join Mike and I for a Masquerade Dinner & Ghost Hunting evening to help raise funds for the Richard Hugo House. T
The evening will begin with champagne cocktails set to a live performance of the circus-like band, Toy Box Trio. Then, we will commence to a candlelight dinner set in the actual black box theater at Hugo House. (Yes, inside the theater.) Afterward, a professional ghost hunter will lead a tour of the House -- including the basement where a child's coffin is rumored to installed, a legacy from the building's days as a mortuary.
The evening's attire is Masquerade. Wear a costume. Wear a formal. Go cocktail or retro. Just wear a mask. We will have a photographer on hand to capture your fabulous outfits.
You may or may not have heard that the famously haunted 1902 former mortuary now housing Richard Hugo House will be torn down in early 2016. Given that, there's a strong possibility this will be a one-time only event and that this will be one spendy shindig to produce, we decided to open about 10 seats to fun, cool people to take part in the experience and help us fund the whole thing. The evening includes champagne cocktails, a four-course dinner with paired wines, post-dinner coffee and ghost hunting. Please BYOB any other spirits (pun intended) or additional wine for post-dinner quaffing while ghost hunting. Cost is $95 per person, or $175 per couple. Additional donations to Hugo House are appreciated!
Cocktail hour begins at 7 p.m. Ghost hunting begins after 10 p.m. Expect to finish around midnight.
Note: Please be sure to plan for transportation post event, e.g. Uber, Lyft or cabs.
