Figures of Speech Theatre: The Distance of the Moon
Presented by Figures of Speech Theatre with opening guest Plains
Tickets: $12 in advance / $15 at the door
The Distance of the Moon is a mixed media adaptation of Italo Calvino's classic short story. Shadows, puppetry, and actors combine with a sparse, hypnotic musical score to bring to life this surreal tale. Humorous and heartbreaking by turns, the performance explores the beautifully murky depths of pure, unrequited love.
