OktoberFEAST with Fermentation on Wheels and Chefs Ian Kanuer & James Odell
The OKtoberFEAST hosted by Blue Moon Acres will not only celebrate using the delicious fall harvest, but will honor the spirit season with spooks, treats, and tricks! Proceeds to benefit the Stony Brook-Millstone Watershed Association and Fermentation on Wheels

ENTRY INCLUDES:
FERMENTATION ON WHEELS All aboard the bus of the post-apocalypse! Meet a real life survivalist and discover the flavors, mystery, and resistance of living foods. Prepare yourself for a sensory explosion featuring our bacterial comrades Kombucha, Sauerkraut, and Tibicos. Learn about micro-diversity, and how it can help us reach our full potential "feel-good selves" and survive in the new world! Taste the creations, if you dare, and ask the survivalist about her secrets.
A beneficiary of our event, Fermentation on Wheels tours the country in a school bus converted into a creative kitchen and workspace. FOW hosts events to provide free food education and teach food preservation to all communities. On 10/25 she transforms her bus, Halloween style!
HAYRIDES Enjoy a 30 minute hayride around our farm with one of our farmers learn the story of our 63 certified organic acres. Tractor departs every 30 minutes starting at 2:15pm

Oktoberfeast Platters: Chef Ian Knauer and his team will sell platters of German bratwursts and handmade veggie "meat." Accompanied by a condiment spread of ferments and krauts made with seasonal veggies, Blue Moon Acres' salad and more.
