Charlie Farren, David Hull and Paul Doolittle in Concert, May 2, 2015
$20 Members / $22 Non-Members Charlie Farren has long been known for great songs, great singing, and for outstanding live solo acoustic performances. Alone onstage with acoustic guitar in hand, Charlie captures an audience with his unique delivery, insightful lyrics, memorable songs, soaring vocal, and subtle yet innovative guitar style. Charlie formed this original self-taught style with a history of successful, hard-crunching bands, including The Joe Perry Project, Farrenheit, and Farren-Butcher Inc. His live solo performances remain the perfect forum for his remarkable talents - one of America's most original and compelling musical artists. An accomplished songwriter, producer and composer, and a highly sought after bassist and collaborator, David Hull's career and creativity defy category. At age 18, the Stratford, CT native got an early start with the Buddy Miles Band, which led to recording and touring with Miles, Joe Cocker, Ted Nugent and Arthur Lee & Love. Although David's most high-profile role has been as replacement for Tom Hamilton on Aerosmith tours in 2006 and 2009, his career has included playing in Dirty Angels, Farrenheit, and The Joe Perry Project, as well as with Pete Droge, Modern Farmer, Monster Mike Welch, and the legendary James Montgomery Band. Losing preconceptions and leaving the comfort zone to branch out in new directions, David's new release as a solo artist, Soul In Motion, shows us his time to step out front has come. Well known on the South Shore for his guitar lessons at Crossroads Music, Paul Doolittle is a notable and talented local guitar hero to his fans, and plays regularly in area venues with his comrades in Rock Star Posers. Join us for our last show of the season with this remarkable trio of talent!
