ABOUT THE TALENT
Headliner: SAM MORRIL Conan, Comedy Central, AXSTV Sam Morril, one of the fastest rising comics in New York City, is also one of the best joke writers in the scene today. How do you know that's true? Because he is writing this bio, and he wouldn't lie about that to get extra work. Sam won March Madness 2010 at Comix, and was featured in a 4-page spread in the Daily News as "one of the four funniest in New York?" He then won the Laughing Skull Festival in Atlanta, beating out over 600 (dreams were shattered!) applicants. In 2011, Sam was named a "Comic to Watch" by Comedy Central. His comedy can be heard on Sirius XM radio, and you can see him regularly at all the best clubs in New York City. Recently, he's been on "Gotham Comedy Live" on AXS TV, and the "The Artie Lange Show." Sam made a big impression at Montreal's "Just for Laughs" Comedy Festival, and was written up a stand out among the "New Faces." Sam has been seen talking sports (mostly about his beloved Knicks) on MSG's "The Bracket," and he recently made his Late Night Debut on "Conan" on TBS. You can see Sam regularly on "Red Eye" on Fox News, and he recently taped a stand-up set for Comedy Central on the second season of Adam Devine's House Party. Time Out New York says: "Morril's jokes arise from his humiliations sure, a lot of comedy does, but he's especially adept at it." Come see Sam before you catch swine flu or something. It's out there!
Host: RICH KIAMCO The Boston Comedy Festival, The Howard Stern Show, The Wendy Williams Show, Good Day New York Rich's comedy career began with a sewing machine at the Fashion Institute Of Technology where he performed his first stand-up routine at the dorm talent show. Later that year later he met Judy Tenuta and became her costume designer and eventually began performing with her as her back-up dancer in Las Vegas, on The Howard Stern Show and venues nationwide. He received the Overall Excellence Award in Solo Performance at the NY Fringe Festival + Best Solo Performance at the Montreal GLBT International Theatre Festival and has performed on campuses and venues across the USA, Canada, China and the Philippines. Rich was featured on BRAVO's Queer Eye For The Straight Guy, co-hosted the WE channel's 3 Men And A Chick Flick, has had multiple appearances on OutQ Sirius XM Satellite Radio, was interviewed on FOX's Good Day NY, recently appeared on The Wendy Williams Show and The Boston Comedy Festival.
ALZO SLADE Montreal Just For Laughs Alzo Slade is a Brooklyn based comic from the Dirty South who doesn't like to write about himself in third person but I will because it sounds weird otherwise. Alzo is a cool guy (that's me talking) who looks intimidating but smiles to make people feel like he's non-threatning. He has played several clubs/venues throughout the tri-state area, Los Angeles and Houston. He also performed at (really hustled his way into) the Montreal 'Just For Laughs' comedy festival.
ANTHONY DEVITO AXSTV, Montreal Just For Laughs Anthony is a NYC based comic. He was featured as one of the "New Faces" at the 2012 Montreal Just for Laughs Festival and in 2014 made his television debut on AXS TV's Gotham Comedy Live. He's also performed at the 2014 Boston Comedy Festival, 2014 Limestone Comedy Festival and 2013 Bridgetown Comedy Festival.
CHRISSIE MAYR She-Devil Festival, Laughing Skull Chrissie recently wrote, produced, directed and acted in SquirrelCode, a web series parody of MTV's hit show GirlCode. Chrissie is featured in the Eater.com web series "We Love Food" and on several radio spots for WKTU. Credits include The Wendy Williams Show, The Chris Gethard Show, The Huffington Post LIVE, What Not To Wear and The Travel Channel. She was a finalist in the 2013 She-Devil festival in NYC and has appeared at the 2013 Laughing Skull Comedy Festival in Atlanta as well as the Cape Fear and Women In Comedy Festivals.
