Pathways 2007: "How Big IS a Hormone?" Tackling Tough Questions Kids Ask
"How Big IS a Hormone?" Tackling Tough Questions Kids Ask Julie Metzger, R.N. and Dr. Rob Lehman
May 9, 2007 7:00pm - 9:00pm
As our children experience all things puberty, they have many important questions. As parents, we have some answers-but talking about these issues is not always easy. Rob Lehman, M.D., and Julie Metzger, R.N., M.N., can help. Both have more than 20 years experience answering the tough questions that are on the minds of pre-teens and teens. Their classes about puberty and sex, "For Girls Only" and "For Boys Only", have been offered at Children's Hospitals in Seattle and Palo Alto. Their humor and down-to-earth practicality mixed with clinical experience will provide ideas to get you started and encourage you to continue these conversations with your kids.
NOTE: This lecture is not appropriate for teenagers
