Outside the Box
Join us for a fun filled of biking, cooking, learning, and eating amongst like-minded friends and a healthy community.
Start with a social bike ride led by Amy and Mike Dannheim of Purdy Ave. meeting at 5:45pm at the Sunset Harbor Marina public parking lot. Bring your own bike, or rent one from the deco bikes located there. The group will leave the lot at 6pm. Remember to bring a bike light since you will be riding back after dark.
If you can't make the bike ride, be sure to arrive and park at The Palms by 6:15 to meet the group.
Enjoy a few passed appetizers and a welcome cocktail and then settle into the healthy cooking class, led by Executive Chef Julie Frans of The Palms Hotel and Essensia Restaurant. With organic veggies provided by Endlessly Organic, and a menu featuring fresh, healthy recipes that everyone can make at home, the class will be sure to get your tummy rumbling and your tastebuds tingling.
Not to worry- everything you learn in the demo will be offered as dinner following the cooking class, and no one will leave hungry! From specialty salads to skewers and sauces, everyone is sure to find some favorites among the recipes.
A cash bar is available throughout the evening, so stay,
sip, and enjoy the lush tropical atmosphere of The Palms for as long as you like. Recipes will be provided; along with goodie bags of discount coupons, edibles, and other local sponsor swag.
This event has a max capacity of 50 guests - and space will fill up fast. Ticket price goes up to $50 - 48 hours prior to the event. So, don't delay! Get your tickets here ASAP.

6:15-6:30 - Registration, Appetizers, Welcome Cocktail
6:30-7:30pm - Cooking Class/Demo
7:30-8:30pm - Dinner on the Veranda
8:30 - Ride back to Purdy Ave.
