You're invited to this special event hosted by the EcoHealth Alliance Young Professionals Council. Come and have a beer or two at the Brooklyn Brewery with us, and learn the facts about Ebola at "Ebola in the Age of Pandemics".
Doors open at 7:30pm, where guests will have access to unlimited beer provided by Brooklyn Brewery. At 8:00 pm, Drs. Jon Epstein and Kevin Olival from EcoHealth Alliance will be discussing the facts about Ebola and other deadly infectious diseases: where did Ebola come from, and what can we expect to happen next? How does human interference with the environment have anything to do with infectious disease? And, more importantly, if we continue to fail to understand and take care of the natural world, what other threats will we ultimately face?
Join Drs. Epstein and Olival and the EcoHealth Alliance Young Professionals Council for an informative and fun evening of networking and connecting with other NYC young professionals with a passion for public health, the environment and sustainability.
Tickets are $20 each for unlimited beer provided by Brooklyn Brewery!
