Hosted by the Alabama Sustainable Agriculture Network (ASAN), the Regional Food & Farm Forums aim to open the floor for rich dialogue, knowledge-sharing, and relationship-building across ASAN's network. The East Alabama Regional Forum is hosted in conjunction with the Auburn Real Food Challenge.
WHO IS ASAN? The Alabama Sustainable Agriculture Network (ASAN) is a grassroots network of small and sustainably minded farmers, consumers, entrepreneurs, and advocates, working together to build a healthier, more resilient, and more democratic food system in Alabama. We tackle that in a wide variety of ways, including events like the Regional Forums; farm tours and workshops; consumer resources like local food guides; regular print and email newsletters that educate as well as amplify event announcements and success stories from throughout Alabama; and more. You can learn more at: http://asanonline.org and on Facebook.
Whether you're a farmer looking for a community of peers, or a supporter looking to do more to spur the improvement of Alabama's food system, please join ASAN today! (See MEMBERSHIP below.)
