Aura Fischbeck Dance

RAW (resident artist workshop) presents Aura Fischbeck Dance. moment studies is a new quartet investigating spontaneous composition, natural selection, individuation, merging, chance encounters, and choice. A highly structured improvisational score serves as a point of departure and creates the framework for the exploration of movement material, and is accompanied by an original score by DJ Owen Bondurant. AFD will also be sharing a new improvisational work entitled moment studies, too. For the development of this work choreographer Aura Fischbeck sent out an open invitation to the community resulting in an incidental ensemble and a score for performance that incorporates the expression of the body in the present moment, in relationship to self, other, and the space.
