Zeek Sheck
Join us in the incubator and witness the final regeneration of the legendary ZS as they hatch the live show destined for national tour in support of the FINAL Zeek Sheck album, "JOINUS" a 2xLP available now on Resipiscent Records. Music to make the body feel wild. A saga that began four albums and five comic books ago with a fat stub of flesh burrowing beneath the grass to uncover hex givers, beepers, and severed sisters' heads, draws to its epic finale deep within The Maze: Once a war sanctuary, then a home, now a biomechanized sarcophagus, and the only way out is up.
Black Spirituals
Celebrating the release of their debut- LP on Sige Records, Black Spirituals will perform a TRIPtych of release parties in October that include shows at The Exploratorium, and Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. Insiders know though, part three is the show to go, the finale, set in the intimate resonant confines of Second Act. Zachary James Watkins on sines, Marshall Trammell on skins. Tiny room made big only tell your bestest.
Space Burn
Serious analog engines, but the upholstry is pure digital. Hop in and prepare for an interstellar odyssey, a slo mo game of deepspace chicken facing down the likes of Moon Pool & Dead Band at the creep of lightspeed. Keep a cool grip and turn your head slowly, pulling G's like these can scramble your heart with your mind. Space Burn are Brian Tester and Steven Santa Maria, well-loved for their work with Triangle, Chen Santa Maria, Love chains, Wave and Particle, and more.
The Fathers
These two were tinkering in the garage out back, typical Dad stuff, trying to fix everything with twine. If you try to help you're immediately perplexed, drawn into a paralyzing weird dad smell wondering what's in front of you and why it's making sound. It's the mesmerized story, told over- and- over, that finds you standing in the oil stain of your own unremembered mind, the perpetual Father's day, as celebrated by Tusco Terror's Nathan Bowers (aka Coagulator) and Derek Gedalecia (best known as Headboggle.)
