Get Your Creativity On With Applied Improvisation
Learning the techniques and philosophy of improvisation is one of the most empowering ways to generate more creative energy that is then available for solving problems, dealing with stressful situations, taking on difficult dynamics in relationships and working at the top of our intelligence. This workshop will include exercises designed to help the group enter the "state of play" in which there is an intensity of focus on the give and take between participants, and heightened spontaneity. Characters and scenes may develop out of these exercises and creative "muscle" strengthened that can be transferred to creative responses to real life challenges. The games and exercises can be easily and rapidly deployed to work in groups and classes for a variety of educational and clinical goals.
