Dinner Theater: Caught in the Net by Ray Cooney
Dinner Theater is a great opportunity to spend a fantastic night out in downtown Little Falls. This production will be the second in Great River Arts newly renovated performing arts space and the dinner will be catered by A.T. the Black & White.
CAUGHT IN THE NET BY RAY COONEY
The play "Caught in the Net" centers on John Smith, a cab driver in a large metropolitan city. John has a big secret he has been keeping. He is living a double life; he has two families that live close together. Each one not knowing of the other. In one family he has a wife and a daughter. The other family a wife and a son. Life is good until his children meet on an online dating service. It is now John's job to keep those kids apart so his secret is not discovered. This play gets very interesting as the children discover just how much they have in common. With both children having the same last name, father having the same first name and the same job. John enlists the help of a boarder named Stanley to help him keep his secret and to keep these love sick kids far apart. Add two wives who are very curious about John's strong desire for these kids not to meet and Stanley's unexplained behavior in his attempt to help keep the secret has made for a very funny play with a twist at the end to surprise the audience. Add to this Stanley's again father who thinks he is at a beach side resort and adds to the confusion that is going on around him.
