Quiet Lightning with Litquake, ArtSpan + and SOMArts
A literary mixtape curated by Quiet Lightning and performed live as part of Litquake!
The first 150 people receive a copy of sPARKLE & bLINK featuring cover art by Sidney Stretz and the writing to be read, by Avren Keating, Sara Marinelli, Sally Ashton, Kate Folk, Linette Escobar, Jill Tomasetti, Kai Carlson-Wee, Chloé Veylit, Kei Griot, Pablo Baeza, Karen Penley, Rose Linke, and Shideh Etaat.
This show is in conjunction with ArtSpan & SOMArts, whose annual SF Open Studios and Day of the Dead exhibitionsshowcasing the work of over 450 local artists will be on view at SOMArts during the event.
Admission includes access to all the art, the readings, and a book for the first 150. Lagunitas will be providing cheap ice cold draft beer, and there will be wine and non-alcoholic beverages.
Doors open at 6:30pm. Show begins at 7:30pm.
