Michael DeLaura has been with Sto Corp. as an Exterior Cladding Specialist since 1996. A 28 year veteran of the Eifs and Coatings Industry, his experience includes 30 years of selling construction products. DeLaura is a LEED Accredited Professional with a specialty in Building Design & Construction. He is an active member of the United States Green Building Council and a member of the Education Review Team. DeLaura has also reviewed proposals for the last four Greenbuilds. A current board member of the Hampton Roads Green Building Council and serves as Treasurer. He is also a member of the education and programming committee and sponsorship committee. DeLaura is also a member of the Middle Tennessee Chapter of the United States Green Building Council. A 1983 Graduate of Old Dominion University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a concentration in Marketing. He has served as a guest speaker to the following organizations: Exterior Design Institute, Kentucky Health Care Coalition, The Hampton Roads Green Building Council, The Hampton Roads Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, The Richmond Virginia Chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute and the West Virginia Chapter of the American Institute of Architects.
