TPR Cinema Series Special Halloween Week Screening: Drácula
To celebrate the spooky Halloween season, TPR Cinema is teaming up with the City of San Antonio's Department for Culture & Creative Development to host a community screening of the Spanish-language version of "Conde Dracula" (1931) on Thursday, October 30th at the Mission Marquee Plaza on Roosevelt Road. This event is free and open to the public.
The screening starts at 7:00 p.m., and the festivities begin an hour earlier. TPR's Nathan Cone will introduce the film, which has English subtitles, and will share its unique history. Convenient parking is available at Mission County Park.
At the event, on-site food trucks will offer snacks and beverages, or you are welcome to bring a picnic (no glass containers, please). Lawn chairs and blankets are strongly encouraged.
We'll give away some fun gift baskets and door prizes, and attendees are invited to come in costume, wearing their vampire or Halloween finest!
No reservations are necessary for the film, but TPR members can reserve preferred lawn seating near the screen.
