The Bluest Eye
Pecola Breedlove is a young black girl who struggles with loving herself in a community that tells her that nothing about her is beautiful. She tries to escape from the pain around her by wishing for blue eyes. From the Toni Morrison classic Novel, adapted by Lydia Diamond, directed by Kenetha carr, and featuring the Amun Ra Theatre Acting Ensemble.
