Hearth Cooking at Slater Mill
The presentation will include an introduction to the keeping of an 18th century hearth and its furnishings, food preparation and cooking tools, and a demonstration by Chef Dan Morgan of Pamfilio's Cooking Institute of his menu for cooking over hot coals on a cool November Saturday. Menu to include roast chicken, roasted root vegetables, potatoes in cream, and autumn fruit tarts. Wine and dinner to be served after Chef's demonstration.
