Sunday Afternoon Country Tour
Enjoy an afternoon in the country. Visit and tour a 1847 Greek Revival Farm that has been totally restored and authentically furnished to the period. Wander the grounds and old horse barn with donuts and cider. Take a mapped driving tour of the neighboring historic country homes and beautiful land preserves. Discover the charm of neighboring historic Holly and Clarkston for a taste of small town America. Fall in Michigan is a beautiful time of year to celebrate.
All proceeds will go to Spirit of Hope, a justice-oriented fully inclusive faith community in Detroit, part of the Detroit Collaborative Parish. It is a Lutheran and Episcopal congregation that serves over 20,000 meals per year, distributes 65,000 pounds of food through its food pantry, hosts Head Start and youth programming, a large community urban farm and a faith-based HIV testing and counseling ministry.
