In the Summer of 2011, William Dodge Moody, aka Billy Dodge, escaped to a family cottage located in Southern Massachusetts to write what would soon be called the Elephant EP: a small but powerful compilation of songs which could be best described as just over twenty minutes of resurrected nostalgia. Since then, Billy Dodge has entered into the Boston music scene, hitting Boston/Cambridge/Somerville venues, saving up to complete his first full length album. Billy's sound could be classified as a unique blend of folk, rock, Americana, and reggae.
Appalachian Sun are a 4-piece band based out of Boston, MA that plays folk, bluegrass, blues, and country music.
Blending an acoustic folk heart with an indie edge, Liz Cooks songs are consistently bright and fresh. Wise beyond her years, Liz brings a mature sensibility to her melodies and delivers her songs with a deeply personal, powerfully resonant voice. With thoughtful lyrics infused with hope and harmony, Liz's songs are vivid, moving, and often ecstatic celebrations of life.
Liz hails from Boston, MA, where her young performing career has already seen her at top venues such as Club Passim, Johnny D's and the Lizard Lounge, and has included opening acts for Catie Curtis, Nervous But Excited, Amy Correia, Aztec Two Step, and many others. Liz is currently working on her first album.
