Producer Dinner: Devil's Gulch Ranch
Please join us for an intimate meal with rancher Mark Pasternak of Devil's Gulch Ranch in Nicasio, California.
Devil's Gulch is a diversified family farm located that grows premium wine grapes and sells rabbits, eggs, poultry, lamb, pork, and asparagus. They believe in sustainable agricultural practices and farm organically whenever possible. The Pasternak family has owned the ranch since 1971 and in addition to raising animals and growing produce, they offer a variety of agricultural and traditional skills workshops, after-school programs, and summer camps. Their rabbits, pork, lamb, and quail can be found on the menus at some San Francisco's finest restaurants.
Along with delicious wines, we will be serving:
Salad of rabbit shoulder confit, crispy house pancetta, pears, arugula and saba vin;
Rabbit consomm with cippolini onions, macomber turnips and brussel sprout leaves;
Potato gnocchi with braised rabbit legs, shaved fresh cranberries, swiss chard, tarragon and parm;
Rabbit roulade with seared delicata squash rings, house bacon and cauliflower puree;
Dessert (TBA);
