Dimensions Dance Theater's Rites of Passage program celebrates 20yrs
Dimensions Dance Theater, the Bay Area's preeminent African-American dance company, is proud to announce a holiday showcase of student performances in celebration of the 20th anniversary of its youth outreach program, Rites of Passage. Offering instruction in dance, music and spoken word to youth ages 8 to 18 years, Rites of Passage is the educational arm of Dimensions Dance Theater. On Sunday, December 7 the company will honor the achievements of Rites of Passage students, faculty and alumni with a program of performances titled It Takes A Village, celebrating the Bay Area's diversity.
