Jedliniok: Concert of Polish Dance & Music
Established in 1975, Jedliniok takes its name from a Lower Silesian dance of the town of Jedlina Zdrój. The ensemble performs Silesian folklore from Lower Silesian and Upper Silesian, from the border town of Cieszyn to the agricultural region around Opole, as well as the highlander dances of Beskid Śląski and Beskid Zywiecki, plus traditions from Nowy Sacz and Opoczno. Jedliniok also presents the Polish national dances: polonaise, Mazur and Krakowiak.
With their dynamic and visually captivating performances, Jedliniok shares the rich folkloric culture of their homeland with audiences around the world. This captivating Ensemble has performed in Europe, Asia, and Australia and currently is touring the Western United States and Canada.
The event sponsored by Lowiczanie Polish Folk Ensemble of San Francisco.
