Welcome to the Micro-Fest, a three-day burst of progressive performance and events from the UK and Europe spread across the city of Bristol.
CUISINE + COLOUR
A colour infused dining experience where guests are at liberty to eat unconventionally.
Cuisine + Colour is a unique collaboration between culinary pop-up artisans Da Boes, and visual artists Motley Collective. Da Boes ('good food' in Cornish) is a South West based company. They celebrate the slow food movement and the creation of cuisine from local produce. Motley Collective began working with Da Boes in response to their mutual belief about the importance of ceremony, and indulging the senses during a dining experience. As a result, Motley Collective and Da Boes have created an exciting dining experience that challenges eating etiquette by raising the awareness of colour in food.
We invite diners to appreciate the colours found in natural and seasonal ingredients as a visual form of sensory enjoyment. The menu and array of utensils at our events are designed to encourage mess and play during the meal. Diners are at liberty to treat their bibs and communal tablecloth a canvas, to appreciate the vibrancy of the menu. Cuisine + Colour serves to open up different perspectives on how food can be savoured. Through our passion for food and colour, we hope to bestow knowledge about local produce in dynamic way.
