2015 War of the Worlds
LBSC's anniversary presentation of Orson Welles' classic radio show, with live sound effects and music performed by the cast. The original 1938 broadcast covered the Martians invading the earth and created a nation-wide panic as a result.
On the Friday, October 30th, and Sunday, November 1st, performances of The War of the Worlds, the Planetary Society's Mat Kaplan (Host of Planetary Radio) will open the shows with his popular "State of the Universe" presentation. Mat will start promptly, Friday at 8pm and Sunday at 2pm. The radio play will follow. All sorts of things have been going on in space recently, and Mat will bring us up to date!
