Wine Social, Showcase and Fundraising Auction at the zen garden of Iwasawa Oriental Arts in Los Gatos
Theatre of Yugen will be hosting guests for a wine social in the beautiful zen garden of Iwasawa Orient Arts at 75 University Ave in Los Gatos.
Theatre of Yugen is a company that specializes in mixing the traditional with the contemporary, East with West, through a unique blend of traditional Japanese theatrical practices and Western dramaturgy. You are invited to grab a glass, sit down and get to know Yugen while they showcase their unique style with special performances by Artistic Director Tanroh Ishida. The company will be auctioning off rare imports from its collection of traditional Noh/Kyogen/Kabuki costumes, Asian dresses, props, musical instruments and other unique dramatic items. All funds will go back to reinvigorating the theatre as it heads into its 37th year of operation.
Wine and food has been generously donated by Plate and Daly Kitchen.
