Iron Chef Goes Coastal 2014

This event attracts over 600 guests and is in its 7th year. It is held at the Seaside Civic & Convention Center with four chefs who draw knives to work as two teams vying for the 2014 Iron Chef goes Coastal title. Chef Chris Holen of Baked Alaska, the 2013 Iron Chef Winner, is back to defend his title. The 2013 People's Choice Winners also competing this year are Chef Geoff Gunn of the Bridgewater Bistro, Chef Sean Whittaker of the Astoria Coffeehouse & Bistro and Chef Jonathan Hoffman of the Chef's Table.

In addition to the competition for top chef, well known North Coast restaurants will compete to win a space in next year's competition. The top two winners of the "People's Choice Restaurant" chef's will challenge this year's winning team in 2015.

Another delight is tasty desserts provided by several restaurants that will top off the evenings culinary feast.
