Mauro Bertoli
Following the area debut of Mauro Bertoli at the University of Toronto's Hart House in April 2010, Toronto Star classical music reviewer John Terauds wrote that the pianist "sizzled a capacity crowd with absolutely flawless technique and deep musicality Here is a newcomer to watch out for." Indeed, his burgeoning concert and teaching career has already taken Bertoli across his adopted Canada and to several states, where he has given solo recitals, played with orchestras and chamber ensembles, and given master classes. He has made several tours back to his native Italy, as well as to Brazil, and most recently, South Korea. Last season, he was Artist-in-Residence at Carleton University in Ottawa, where he now makes his home.
