Please join us for a joint lecture from UW Design Alumni Minnie Bredouw (2010) and Nivi Ramesh (2008). They will share the story of their journeys post graduation and discuss their experience working at IDEO, an internationally recognized design and consulting firm.
Minnie Bredouw is a Design Lead at IDEO, where she focuses on service design, user experience (UX), and creative strategy. Previously, Minnie was selected as a fellow with ideo.org to focus on projects in emerging markets around the world. Her projects have ranged from enabling young Zambians to access family planning services to building a digital platform that allows executives to apply creative skills in the workplace.
Nivi Ramesh is a Senior Designer at IDEO, specializing in visual interaction design and creative direction. Her diverse portfolio of digital projects spans health care, home automation, games, and consumer electronics. From reimagining the patient journey for diabetics to designing a game about mutant cheese to explain phylogenetics, she's passionate about inspiring people through simple and beautiful experiences. Currently, she is working in the IDEO Toy Lab to help develop a portfolio of digital toys.
