Fall Festival of Magic
The Middle Tennessee Magic Club in conjunction with the Murfreesboro Center for the Arts will present "The Fall Festival of MAGIC 2014" on Friday and Saturday, October 17 and 18, at 7:02 p.m. both nights in the Center's theater located at 100 W. College Street in Murfreesboro.
Club Vice President Jimbo Hooten will serve as Master of Ceremonies for the show. In addition to Hooten, the 2014 edition of the show which will feature many of the best magical entertainers the area has to offer. The cast includes Mongo the Magnificent (Club Treasurer Rob Covert), the Magic of Reo (Reo Hagood), Club Secretary / Web Master Emeritus Alan Fisher, The Great Waynnie (Club President Wayne Lovell), and Gary Flegal. The Director for the production will be Jeff Mullins.
Tickets will be on sale for both evening's shows starting in September at J. Mullins Jewelry & Gifts, located at 352 W. Northfield Blvd. in Murfreesboro, and at the Center for the Arts by calling 615-904-ARTS (615-904-2787), visiting their web site http://boroarts.org/tickets/ or stopping by the Center box office. All seats are $10.
The Middle Tennessee Magic Club is the Sam Walkoff Ring, the Murfreesboro chapter (number 252) of the International Brotherhood of Magicians, the largest fraternal organization of magicians in the world. Ring 252 meets the first Tuesday of every month at the North Boulevard Church of Christ located at 1112 N. Rutherford Blvd. at 7:02 p.m. Anyone with a sincere interest in magic is welcomed to visit and join.
