ROPE
Directed by John Lipe, Rope is the tale of two wealthy and privileged college undergraduates, heavily influenced by philosophical models of intellectual superiority, who contrive to commit the perfect murder. The victim's body is concealed in a chest in their apartment. A carefully selected party of guests, including the victim's father, is invited to dinner -- using the chest itself as the dining table. As a storm brews outside, can the pair keep their guilty secret or will they lose their nerve? Alfred Hitchcock produced a renowned film adaptation of the play.
