Seattle Wind Symphony, Spring Zephyrs
SWS is proud to feature the winner of our first high school concerto contest, Sara Harkness, performing Fantasie for flute and winds by Georges Hue. Sara is currently a senior at Lindbergh High School, Renton.
Also featured on the program: saxophone trio of Adam Pelandini, Alex Worland and Connor Jonson performing Hell's Gate by David Maslanka.
The concert program will also include: Festive Overture (Shostakovich), Pineapple Poll (Sullivan), "Country Band" March (Ives), Chorale and Shaker Dance (Zdechik), O Man, now weep for they great Sin (Bach), Pas Redoublé (Saint-Saëns), The Melody Shop (King)
