Most successful entrepreneurs never think about retirement because they enjoy their work so much and simply don't find time to plan ahead.  To make matters worse, efficiently passing wealth from one generation to the next is difficult, and the task gets extremely challenging when the major asset is a privately-owned business.  An owner has only three choices: Prepare for a sale to an outside party; designate and train a family member as a successor; or liquidate the asset and dissolve the company.  But nothing happens without planning for this critical change.  Consultant Harry M. McCabe has a passion for helping business owners with exit planning and organizes complex issues in a process that allows them to think and act clearly.  Come learn the Seven Steps to SuccessionTM method, which includes accountants as part of the collaborative process.

Harry M. McCabe began his career as a pension plan administrator and financial advisor.  With this experience, he transitioned to designing and administering qualified retirement plans.  Later he started a new company to focus on succession planning.  Harry is a Registered Investment Advisor Representative.  He received his MBA from University of Utah.  See his website at www.harrymccabe.com.
