Opening Gala
At 7:30 PM on November 21, 2009, witness the birth of a new orchestra in Seattle! A brand new symphonic ensemble of young professionals, the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber Orchestra will present its first full program at Daniels Recital Hall. The performance will feature Haydn's jovial Symphony No. 104 "London", Mozart's elegant Symphony No. 38 "Prague", and Bruch's stirring Violin Concerto No. 1 played by virtuosic Seattle native Andrew Sumitani. General admission tickets are only $10, with Student/Senior (65+) discount tickets available for $8. Concertgoers under 16 listen free. Tickets will be sold online at Brown Paper Tickets until Nov. 20, and can be purchased at the door (cash or check only) approximately one hour before the start of the performance.
