La Cosecha Comida: Friends-Giving w/ Local Roots NYC and Chef Eduardo Sandoval
Local Roots NYC is teaming up with Chef Eduardo Sandoval, previously of Mission Cantina to bring you La Cosecha Comida, a delicious fiesta inspired by Chef Sandoval's childhood on the Mexican/American border. The price of a ticket includes two craft beers compliments of Sixpoint Brewery.
Ingredients will be sourced through partnerships with sustainable farmers, fishers and artisans in and around NYC. The night will include a screening of a cult classic Mexican punk film, plus an opportunity to mingle with like minded and fun loving foodies from around the city.
This iteration of our seasonal pop up dinner series delivers us to a new location in DUMBO at the foot of the Manhattan Bridge. Brooklyn Roasting Company has generously loaned us an intimate space right around the corner from their flagship location. Bring a friend, bring your own plate and bring your party hat to La Cosecha Comida.
Proceeds from Local Roots NYC pop up dinners go towards supporting initiatives like CSA in the classroom and other sustainably focused food and agricultural programming. During our dinners, young NYC chefs have a creative platform to showcase local, sustainable ingredients included in the CSA.
