SLANT CULTURE THEATRE FESTIVAL LAUNCH PARTY!
Critically-acclaimed duo Over The Rhine kicks off the 2014 Slant Culture Theatre Festival with an evening of acoustic music as they headline the third annual festival's Launch Party on November 12 at Walden Theatre. Over The Rhine's latest record is Meet Me at the Edge of the World, a fan-funded double-album inspired by the atmosphere of the couple's rural Ohio home of the past eight years.
The Launch Party gets underway at 7pm at Walden Theatre (1123 Payne Street in Louisville) and includes a bar, food trucks, hijinks, and excitement for the Slant Culture Theatre Festival including a special presentation of Centrifuge, a mixed-media production that includes music, a film short, a 10-minute play, monologues, slam poetry, and improv featuring many of the Festival's participants.
Space is limited for this intimate show. Tickets are $35 and go on sale Thursday, Oct 2. All tickets are general admission but seats can be reserved on a first-come basis beginning when doors open. VIP reserved seating available with full Festival Pass ($65), guaranteeing 10 more days of unlimited Slant entertainment.
