The Pink Panther Strikes Again
Last spring, the award-winning St. Mary's High School Theatre Department went green with Shrek the Musical. This fall, they're going PINK! The world's most unusual criminologist, Chief Inspector Jacques Clouseau, fires from the hip and hits your funny bone in The Pink Panther Strikes Again, a hilarious stage adaptation based on the popular 1976 movie of the same name. The story follows the inept Clouseau as he fumbles and bumbles his way through France, England and Germany, blissfully unaware that an army of deadly assassins is after his life, that the beautiful girl seeking him is actually a Russian spy, and that Dreyfus, his former boss turned lunatic, is threatening to vaporize the world with the deadly Doomsday Machine! Directed by Kevin Costello, and featuring a cast of 42 students, The Pink Panther Strikes Again is loaded with silly, slapstick humor suitable for the whole family! All performances are at Stockton Civic Theatre, located at 2312 Rosemarie Lane in Stockton: Saturday, October 4 at 7:30 p.m.; Sunday October 5 at 2:00 p.m.; Friday, October 10 at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, October 11 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday, October 12 at 2:00 p.m. Patrons are advised to purchase tickets ahead of time.General admission prices are $15.00 for adults, $12.50 for seniors, and $10.00 for students and children.
