Modern Classical Chamber Music Series: The Chimera Duo
We are pleased to announce an innovative new music series to the Sapphire Room's calendar: Experience world-class Modern Chamber Music in Boise's only acoustically-designed intimate venue. Classical music presented with a contemporary twist to create a refreshing and exhilarating experience for everyone.
The event features the Chimera Duo: Matthew Tutsky, The Boise Philharmonic's principal harpist who hails from The Manhattan School of Music and Juilliard's Pre College. Matthew is also a permanent sub with Utah Symphony, Seattle Symphony, and Louisiana Philharmonic. He has performed numerous solo recitals, chamber music concerts, and orchestral performances in New York City including Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall, Avery Fisher Hall, and Symphony Space.
Matthew will be joined by Lindsay Edwards, the acting English horn player in the Hawaii Symphony. She also holds the English horn chair in the Boise Philharmonic and is Principal Oboe of the Boise Baroque Orchestra and the Opera Idaho Orchestra.
The pair will play the following selections:

The Chimera Duo will be then be joined by a talented group of musicians for two chamber pieces:

$12 preferred seating, $10 general seating
