Burlesque and Bequest: An Introduction to Feminine Leadership and Legacy
Burlesque can be used to challenge internalized oppression, to contest the social-political landscape, to evoke joy, and to embrace feminine wholeness. It helps awaken the forgotten parts of ourselves, and celebrate all that we are capable of by embodying feminine leadership. Discover what the art of tease reveals about the inheritance of women. This workshop will combine performance art for personal transformation, embodied story-telling and radical authenticity to explore your inheritance.

Based off her new book, Burlesque and Bequest: Rewriting the Inheritance of Women, Cat Cuevas facilitates a workshop designed to help you embody the personal presence and legacy you want to live. Through experiential activities, burlesque exercises, small group work and personal reflection, you will reclaim the stories you've been bequeathed.
