CD Forum & Tempero do Brasil 10th Anniversary Celebration!
Let's party! Join Central District Forum for Arts & Ideas and Food as Art restaurant Tempero do Brasil for a special joint 10th Anniversary Celebration and Fundraiser on Tuesday, October 27th. Jazz musician Paul Richardson and performer Josephine Howell will bring the house down as Chef Graca Ribiero warms up the kitchen with sumptuous dishes:
Feijoada - A savory stew of black beans and a variety of meats. Served with rice, collard greens and orange slices.
Moqueca de Peixe or Moqueca de Camarao - Halibut filet (Peixe) or prawns (Camarao) simmered in coconut milk, lime juice, vegetables and palm oil.
Quiabada - Spicy beef and okra stew.
Bobo de Frango - Chicken breasts sauteed in virgin olive oil and garlic, simmered in a coconut milk sauce. Served with deep fried okra and rice.
Frango Grelhado - Grilled chicken breasts topped by mango salsa, served with rice and beans.
