Macbeth
"Double, double toil and trouble!" Witches, ghosts, prophesies, scheming, murder and war this classic supernatural play has it all! Perhaps one of the most well-known Shakespearean tragedies, the "Scottish Play" is exciting, action-driven, classic theater at its best. Join us for this exciting tale in Northfield's beautiful Central Park.
Directing Macbeth is Susan Carlson.This is Susan's 20th season with the Northfield Arts Guild Theater, contributing as actor, stage manager, costumer, props and set design, and director for more than 40 productions. She is (once again) a member of the Theater Committee, and has recently joined the Arts Guild Board. Previously in Central Park she has directed The Comedy of Errors, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and Measure for Measure, as well as appearing in Twelfth Night and The Merry Wives of Windsor. Her most recent projects include directing The Man Who Came to Dinner in December 2013, and appearing as Gayeva in The Cherry Orchard last spring. Susan just recently costumed August: Osage County and will be stage managing Oliver! in April 2015.
