Michael Lewin
One of America's most gifted and charismatic concert pianists and teachers, Steinway Artist Michael Lewin, presents our second program of the 2014-2015 Piano Series season. A member of the piano faculty at The Boston Conservatory, he has performed to great acclaim around the globe. Recently, he added the CD "Beau Soir" to his extensive and critically praised discography. This all-Debussy recording followed an earlier release, "If I Were a Bird," that had received a Grammy nomination. His career was launched following victories in major competitions, including the William Kapell International Competition in 1982 and the Liszt International Competition in the Netherlands in 1986.
