North Bend Mountain Film Series 2014
Get ready for the 7th Annual North Bend Mountain Film Series! Doors open at 4:00 every Sunday from October 5 - November 16 and the films start at 5:00.
The series continues the first week of December with the Banff Mountain Film Festival December 3, 4 and 5 and concludes with the North Bend Amateur Film Challenge Winners and Warren Miller's "No Turning Back" on December 6.
Sunday October 5 Filmmakers Noah and Jonah Howell from Powderwhore Productions return to North Bend with their new film "Some Thing Else". The Friends of NWAC will be hosting the beer garden. $12.00 Admission
Sunday October 12 Level 1 Productions presents "less". This is the 15th film from Level 1 and features up and coming talent and great terrain from our own Summit at Snoqualmie! $12.00 Admission
Sunday October 19 Teton Gravity Research (TGR) Double Feature! "Higher" is the third in ten time big mountain Rider of the Year Jeremy Jones trilogy of snow board films. You've seen "Deeper" and "Further" in past years and "Higher" follows Jeremy from Jackson Hole to Nepal where the stakes are as high as the peaks themselves. 5:00 PM
TGR's "Almost Ablaze" is a global odyssey combining state-of-the-art cinematography and the most progressive riding on The Planet. Experience a new level of sensory overload as each athlete is wired for sound, immersing the audience completely in the moment. Watch as athletes push the edge to realize a heightened state. Sunday October 26 Reel Rock "Valley Uprising" The REEL ROCK Film Tour, in its 9th year, brings a special presentation of Valley Uprising - the riveting tale of Yosemite climbing, spanning half a century of struggle against the laws of gravity and the laws of the land.

Sunday November 2 "Pretty Faces" This is a film celebrating women who thrive in the snow. The concept for the film was originated by professional big mountain skier and SheJumps co-founder, Lynsey Dyer with the objective of giving women and girls, young and old, a source of inspiration through a unique look at what is possible when boundaries are broken, dreams captured and friendships cultivated
