The entertainment world is a tough nut to crack. It's best to brave it with the help of a seasoned pro. His name is Peter Iliff, scribe of blockbuster films including "Point Break," "Varsity Blues," and over 50 other sold projects, including a series to Netflix. In this five week class, Peter will help you take your great idea for a TV show or movie and turn it into a polished pitch document and detailed outline that will sell and withstand the toughest questions from creative execs. He'll help you address any story issues until your project is irresistible. Peter will also share his tricks for staying relevant in a volatile market by dazzling execs. By the end of the class, you'll have crafted a killer pitch, penned a show or movie bible, have written some killer scenes, and formulated a sales plan for your script. Surf board not included.
Note: You must have completed a 5 week screenwriting class at Writing Pad or have significant screenwriting experience and have a high level outline to participate in this class.

About Peter Iliff: With over 50 sold film and TV projects, Peter Iliff has written under contract for nearly every studio and TV network in Hollywood. He became a full time screenwriter when he sold his script, "Point Break," to Ridley Scott and Columbia Pictures in 1987. Since then, he has written and sold 43 films and eight television pilots. His other movie blockbusters include"Patriot Games" with Harrison Ford, "Under Suspicion" with Gene Hackman and Morgan Freeman, "Varsity Blues" with James Van Der Beek and Jon Voight, and "Rites of Passage" with Christian Slater which he also directed. Peter has also written for HBO's "Tales of the Crypt" and "Varsity Blues" for MTV. He has done studio rewrites for shows and movies such as "Frank Lloyd Wright," "Texas Rangers," "Mimic," and "Fear". He's currently working on a new surf gangster crime drama series he created for Netflix with the producer of "Entourage" and director of "The Fast & Furious."
