Enter the world of your dreams with the one and only Love Markets, where Weimar Berlin mates with New Orleans and pulp heroines stalk the shadowed streets! Join us for Oktoberfest treats, whiskey tangos, undertaker's waltzes, and songs about sideshows, sailors, love and revolution.
The Jewelbox Theater is located inside the Rendezvous at 2322 2nd Ave in Belltown. Showtime: 8:00 pm. The show is 90 minutes including a 20-minute intermission. $12.

BIO: THE LOVE MARKETS make songs for a world in which we are all on the market, looking for love against a backdrop of loss, greed, and political corruption. Fronted by singer-songwriter Angie Louise, the band mates the eerie glamour of Weimar Berlin with the bordello-blues grit of New Orleans. In 2013 The Love Markets released their debut album "World Of Your Dreams" at ACT's Falls Theatre, drawing raves from Seattle Magazine ("Irresistible... Intoxicating theatricality... A deliciously dark carnival") and City Arts ("Ruffle-clad ruffians... Uber-belter vocals... Fearsome chops"). Since their birth in 2008, the Love Markets have donned their well-used uniforms of military lingerie for sellout shows at ACT's Bullitt Cabaret and Allen Theatre, Le Can Can, City Arts Fest, Seattle Museum, and Seattle International Cabaret Festival; performed as featured guests with Seattle Men's Chorus, Sandbox Radio, and on TV's ArtZone with Nancy Guppy; and served as annual musical hosts for Vashon Island's Burlesco Notturno and the Gregory Awards for Excellence in Theatre.
BAND: The Love Markets are Angie Louise (vocals, songs, keys); Robertson Witmer (accordion vixen); David Marriott Jr. (trombone wizard); Dave Pascal (bass, bacon); and Chris Monroe (drums, flask).
