You may have never heard of Eric Kilburn, unless you love acoustic music, then youve heard his work: his superb sound studio produces many of Bostons finest folk projects; or unless you are one of the hundreds of musicians who have recorded with him; unless you have witnessed Erics late-blooming on-fire mandolin chops; or unless you are, like me, an old folky, and know the songs, some of them bitingly irreverent satire, others deeply compassionate tributes to conscience, love and family, songs he has quietly penned during his thirty years of songwriting.
