Charles Herrera Stars in By Request - A New Cabaret Concert With Tim Bruneau On Piano
Charles was born and raised in the heart of the wine-growing Napa Valley. With training in opera, he is equally comfortable singing in musical styles from Opera, Country, Pop, Broadway, Jazz, and Standards from the Great American Songbook. His acting studies with teacher Stella Adler came in very handy with his performances in musicals and plays including Godspell, Oklahoma, The Mikado, The Glass Menagerie, and Harvey, and he's been nominated twice for Desert Theatre League awards for Best Lead Performer in Marry Me a Little, and Standing on Ceremony: The Gay Marriage Plays. A seasoned cabaret singer, his performances have garnered him critical-acclaim and earned him fans in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Palm Springs, and Mexico - where he is in high demand for dubbing the singing in Spanish for US animated features. His newest CD, Love Changes Everything, will be available after his September 28th show.
