Algonquin Yoga & Dinner at The Palms Hotel & Spa
Algonquineers, Once again we'd like to shake things up a bit and help you regain some balance and inner peace with a Zen and health-inspired Yogalgonquin and garden-to-table dinner at the beautiful The Palms Hotel & Spa on Monday, September 29th. .
Sharon Aluma and Amy Dannheim, two wonderful yoga instructors from Green Monkey, will be giving a delightful hour of open-air yoga on the hotel's Veranda Terrace which has gorgeous views of swaying palm trees and tropical flora. Once you feel whole again, Chef Julie Frans of Essensia Restaurant will offer you a wholesome buffet style spread of fresh & healthy food, inspired by fresh picked garden greens and herbs from their on-site organic garden. A signature cocktail and garden tea are included. The Palms Aveda Spa will also be on-site for the last hour to provide mini neck massages to prolong your well-being even further. The maximum is 40. Please bring your own yoga mat, towel and water bottle. Some mats may be available to borrow (the hotel has about 12 first come, first serve). You don't need to be a yoga expert to participate at this event, the instructors are specialized to instruct yogis of all levels at the same time. We encourage you to bike, use public transport, or street park. Reduced valet will be $15. If you RSVP, please make sure that you come, as the hotel is making all the food especially for us. If you cannot make it, please be aware that you are expected to pay for it anyway. Otherwise make sure you get someone to come in your place.
